Lorin Williams, Psy.D.

Dr. Lorin Williams obtained her bachelor’s degree from SUNY Binghamton, majoring in psychology and biology. Dr. Williams then moved to Boston for her graduate work at William James College in clinical psychology with a focus on neuropsychological and psychological assessment. An APA internship was completed with the Mount Sinai Medical School at Elmhurst Hospital in New York, and her two-year postdoctoral fellowship in lifespan clinical neuropsychology was at the Texas Medical School at Houston. As a part of fellowship training, Dr. Williams worked on pediatric and adult Epilepsy Monitoring Units, completing pre-and post-surgical evaluations, as well as in the Children’s Learning Institute and a Neurocognitive Disorders Clinic. Dr. Williams has been a New York State licensed psychologist since 2015 and completes evaluations in both English and Spanish.

Dr. Williams currently teaches at Mohawk Valley Community College and SUNY Polytechnic Institute, and consults for various healthcare and nursing facilities in the area. The current research she is conducting is focused on how to leverage technology to help students learn, engage, and be more successful in school. Dr. Williams is an active member of several regional, national, and international associations, including the Psychological Association of Northeastern New York (PANNY), where she serves as the Secretary to the Board, the New York State Psychological Association (NYSPA), and the International Neuropsychological Society (INS).
